What is the Creative Commons Licensing Tool and why would you need to use it? The Creative Commons Licensing Tool helps you create a license for your own original work, to include songs, videos, text of any kind, lessons, photos, etc.. It allows you to determine exactly how others may use your work, and ensures that you will be given credit for your hard work. There are a total of six different licenses! Please see one of the five below: According to CreativeCommons.org, "This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms."
